I am a 30-something public servant, father of two, husband of one, unpublished writer, reader of good books, judge of good whiskey, graduate of psychology, and armchair philosopher, trying to keep on top of the hours, (successful some of the time), and continuously searching for his way.

This blog is not about rubbing in the faces of others what I might have and what they might not. It is about acknowledging that there are simple things in my life that I take for granted, that I have to be careful not to assume are my “right” to have, that I forget others don’t have. This blog is about my journey to hold more gratitude for what I have, rather than obsessing about the things I am missing.

I invite you to come along.
